The Albert Strange Society,

whose business it is to keep alive the life and work of the highly regarded Scarborough Artist, yacht designer, writer and raconteur, Albert Strange will be having their AGM in Scarborough next year in conjunction with Scarborough Yacht Club of which he was a founder member.

He was also an active member of the Scarborough Model Yacht Club who met at the Mere and Springhill Resevoir, and through which he experimented with hull design and sail plans which helped him play a significant role in the development of the sea going yacht we know today.
