TRANSPORT
As a charity the Society tries to ensure its activities are accessible to all.
We also wish to encourage ‘green’ transport.
Many activities listed take place in the town and are readily accessible on foot, by cycle or by public transport.
Car sharing allows those without a vehicle to take part and lessens the impact of the car.
If you are able to offer a place in your car or if you require a lift please contact Chris Hall, Tel 01723 354237.
Where an out of town venue is accessible by public transport, details are listed but please check with the bus company (http://www.eyms.co.uk/content/busservices/busservices.aspx)
Excavations and fieldwork
Excavations are planned from time to time. See details on the Current Fieldwork page.
There is an ongoing schedule of excavations and field walking. Contact Chris Hall, to keep informed.
To find out about previous excavations browse or search the online catalogue
